D.O.G.S Design partizipated successfully in the relaunch of Stadtjugendausschuss e. V. Karlsruhe's webpages. In cooperation with an external design company there has been placed lots of interactive content on the new sites. A google map application, for example, generates automatically a map from a given contact address and shows the specific location on every site. Another highlight is the interactive slide-element ont he front page which links to all the projects. The challange of building this website in TYPO3 was especielly the integration of all those interactive items into the easy and intuitive editing system of D.O.G.S Design.

This was another assignment for transforming a webpage into the content management system TYPO3. The webpages were first designed in Flash which made it quite uncomfortable to change any content and therefore it was difficult to keep it up-to-date. With our new user-friendly editing system this is not no problem anymore.

The webpages of the Internationales Forum were redesigned and transformed to TYPO3 by us in 2008. Special challenge was the integration of a completely externally-hosted page-structure and its structured designing. The external content is listed under the menu-entry "Junge Seiten".

The difficulties we faced in this assignment was the transformation of the relatively fexible structure of the given HTML-Pages into a sufficiently structured format which was usable by a content-management-system.

After we tried a lot of groupware solutions we decided to implement our own idea of an intranet. There were two main requirements. First a project and user based todo-administration and second the integration of a wiki-software. Furthermore there should be a flexible and complex access-rights-administration bades on the various projects. The implementation of the todo-system was made by a plugin which makes it possible to to assign different projects and users to a todo-item. Depending on this the item is displayed on different pages and through this the access-rights are implemented.As wiki software we integrated a small mediawiki like plugin on every project page as a content element. With this you have all the advantages of a wiki software but still the complex user-rights-administration typo3 offers.Another feature of the intranet is the integration of all the project specific files from the svn-repository of the server as a list of links on the corresponding project page. This Conception of an intranet makes it possible on one site to give access to all project relevant data to someone who works on the project and on the other site to exclude everyone else from these datas.We are planning further extensions like a customer area etc.

The transformation of the Evopro Kft. Informatics and Automatisation website to the content management system Typo3 were challenging especially because of the dynamic news-administration. The news are displayed in three different places depending on the date of creation. The most recent news is always displayed on the starting page the next three are displayed on the right side of the starting page and then there exists a news archive. The news-archive has two more displaying modes. One to see all the news in a short form ordered by date in a list and one with all the details of one entry.
Once more we could keep almost all the details of the complex design when creating the more standardized environment for typo3.

While planning and creating this webpage we emphasized on an elegant design. The pages should give a serious and an equally dynamical impression.
Challenging was especially the integration of the design-picture, which should give the pages a vivid look and eventhough shouldn't make the page look to crowded together with all the pages in the content.

In this websides a housing-estate should be presentet, that is currently cunstructed next to the race-course in Iffezheim. Challenging was to give a good impression of all the houses. Therefor many pictures have been positioned onto the websides, but the sides shouldn't look overloaden. Through adeptly integration into the deisgn we could achieve a clear but also capacious overview.

The comfortable little street cafe amidst the city center of Karlsruhe received with this homepage a webappearance that reflects right down to the last detail the French flair of this Café. The lovely arranged flowers around the Cafè Gitanes recovery in the webside, so that the visitor of this webside feels immediatly remindet of this wonderful place.

During implementation of the websides for the Best Western Elblandhotel we were bound to strict design guidelines to fulfil the Corporate Identity of the Best Western Group. Nevertheless we were successfull to bring a bit of individuality into this design. Besides nice effects like the image-galery or the film about the hotel and its environement, we payed attention that the directress of this hotel could easily care the contents independently, without needing qualified knowledge in computers.

The webappearence of the Medentika GmbH has a modest and still surprisingly interesting design. Therewith we matched the customers whish to have a preferably elegant and modern design including a bit of a technical look.

After the network for the Europa-Union Baden-Württemberg was established the youth organisation (JEF) has been integrated. The collective database enables to administer dates and addresses coordinately.

While creating the websides of this young band a funky design has lain us especially at heart. Now they are presented in a modest, ageless and still modern style. The integrated Musicplayer enables visitors of these sides to listen immediatly to the songs of the band. Furthermore there is a guestbook integrated that is already activly used.

The particular challenge with this job was to create a consistent and appealing design for a multiplicity of associations. The hierarchal structure of this organisation should be maintained in the organisation of these websides. Therefor a highly complex network between the websides has been configured. A central database and detailled elaborated access priviledges guarantee minimal administration effort and eliminate inconsistencies in information.

Responsible for the operation and coordination of the „Jugendnetz“ is the „Servicestelle Jugend“ of the „Jugendstiftung Baden-Württemberg“. Supporter is the federal state „Baden-Württemberg“ in assitance of the „Europäischen Sozialfonds“.

The central task here is the consultance and administration of a communicationportal „Forum Jugendnetz“ that has been installed by our company. Fluently informationexchange and strict security guidelines have the highest priority in this job. Not only the attendance of the „Verbraucherzentrale Baden-Württemberg“ and the „Jugendpresse Baden-Württemberg“ makes the „Forum Jugendnetz“ an interesting project.

A youthful design was something we appreaciated especially while creating the websides for the „Jugendnetz Baden-Württemberg – International“. This project is supervised by us since the design phase by the „Kultusministerium Baden-Württemberg.
